When you get better everything in your life gets better. This week and hereafter look for ways to improve your skills and abilities. When you grow and develop your personal and career skills, the circumstances of your life will respond with positive changes. Continuous learning is not an elective. Be teachable. Read.  Leaders are readers. Attend seminars and retreats. Study the masters. John Wooden  -said “If I am through learning, I am through.” Keep practicing. When you are out there striving on the field you’re learning a ton compared to those who are watching from the bleachers. Long-term success is achieved through constantly improved performance.

Mission 42 Client Events

This week, -hold a meeting to plan some kind of business-building event. This event could target clients who have never had their hair colored, -or teenagers who need makeup lessons, or clients who have never had esthetic services,  or clients that want to go blonde, etc, etc. The possibilities are virtually endless.  Market these and other ideas to your clients through posters, -mailings, -handouts and word of mouth.

You are only limited by your imagination.

Mission 41 Be Happy

Today and everyday, -when you get up in the morning, say, “I feel happy, I feel healthy, I feel terrific.”  What you become starts with the way you think. Think about being happy. Write down the things that give you joy. Start a gratitude list. Review your list daily. Do the things that bring you joy. Tim Redmond said, “There are many things that will catch my eye, but there are only a few which catch my heart. It is those I consider to pursue.”

It’s your attitude,  not your aptitude,  that determines your altitude.

Mission 40 Thank You Cards

Today and for the following week, -send special clients a thank-you card expressing your appreciation of them. Acknowledge any good news, -but more importantly, -give them a heart-felt thank you for allowing you to look after their hairstyle. Show appreciation for your relationship. Always send your first time clients a thank-you note.
